Floating in the pristine seas of the north and west coast of Africa are the magical islands of Spain. This jewel-like island consisting of eight islands is steeped in Spanish culture, rich history, and great volcanic landscapes. Undoubtedly among the most beautiful islands of Spain, the Canary Islands emerged from the low seas millions of years ago due to the eruption of an underwater volcano. The oldest islands in the case, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote, were formed 20 to 30 million years ago. Among these is the Palmera Island Marine Reserve, which is home to creatures such as loggerhead turtles and doltebrates and invertebrates, as well as other marine life. Several monuments, landscapes, and bird habitats are protected as part of the Natura 2000 network, which is a group of outstanding natural sites in Europe beyond the European Union.

La Palma is one of Europe’s best volcanic hotspots. Visitors cannot miss the surreal Cumbre Vieja National Park, an alternate world of dense forests, volcanic peaks and dark prehistoric lava fields. The park is large, narrowing in the center of the island into five municipalities. Trek Solo through Cumbre Vieja in its “volcanic way”, or take a guided tour showing the Cumbre Vieja Volcano, which destroyed several nearby towns in 2021 after expelling lava in 85 days. Natural Teneguía Volcanoes The natural monument is another important thing. You will feast your eyes on the San Antonio Volcano, the last eruption in a century the 17th, and the tenteguíía volcano, the last volcano to erupt in La Palma before the Cumbre Vieja volcano.
The 18-Screet-Mile Caldera de Taburiente National Park, LA Palma’s most visited, is a meandering symphony of pine forests, tranquil streams, and mountain waterfalls, all surrounded by massive, towering mountain trunks. The country sits inside a deep crater that was formed after the volcanic structures collapsed after their magma was released. For a stellar experience, visit the Blue Blue beaches, which hold the prestigious international distinction of cleanliness and safety. On the Eastern side of La Palma, you will find the Blue Flag Waters of Playa de Los Cacajos and Playa de Bajamar, which is close to the beautiful capital of Stanta cruz de la Palma. On the west side, don’t miss the quiet, family-friendly playa Charcho Verde or Playa de Puerto Naos, the largest beach.

The rich Lapla influence of Palma by walking through the beautiful cobblestone streets of Santa Cruz de La Palma. Founded in 1493, the colorful capital of the island has been expanded with beautiful colonial architecture that reflects its halcyon days as the first Spanish headquarters of the Council of the Indies, a group of royal planters who ruled here in the Spanish colonial administration.
The old town is centered around the plaza de Plate Plate España, where beautiful churches, buildings and museums are the main attractions. The Church of San Francisco was built in the Renaissance style and Brims with Flemish Archwork inside. The 16th century town hall is full of lovely frescoes, and the revealing, Stone Casa Thite de Salazar invites visitors inside the knight’s home. The Museo infuler de la Palma, located inside the Franciscan Convent, is the achievement of the island. Here you will find a great collection of Spanish paintings alongside portraits, nature, and historical exhibits. Outside the Naval museum, a wonderful reproduction of Christopher Columbus’s famous ship “Santa Maria” is displayed. Be sure to take a long walk to see the revered image of the island’s supporters inside the temple of the Virgin of Las Niseeves.
Once in Spain, you can easily access direct flights from Madrid and Barcelona to La Palma Airport. There are also direct flights to La Palmera from several popular European destinations, including Amsterdam, London, Zurich, and Berlin.
