The high-profile campaign event came nearly a week before election day, as New Yorkers headed to the polls for the first weekend of voting, closing out a mayoral battle in which Mamdani was not expected to hold national office.

Both Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez campaigned alongside Mamdani in his bid to lead the most populous city.
On Friday night, Sanders “found an event” with Moti “and Mamdani. Last month, Sanders and Mamdani joined the “fight against the Oligarchy” at the city hall in Brooklyn.

Ahead of the Brooklyn city hall event, two progressive leaders marched alongside union members in Manhattan’s Labor Day Parade. That afternoon, Mamdani is pictured It’s sanders and ocasio-cortez in Astoria, Queens, garnering millions of views.
Sanders, the Democratic presidential nominee, was an early advocate of Mamdani’s Campaign, along with Ocasio-Cortez. Their approval helped Mamdani to consolidate the growing support in the field of 11 breaks in time in the final weeks of the main race.
Mamdani’s primary upset caused a political earthquake as the Democratic Socialist defeated former gov.

CUOMO has launched an independent campaign, taking on a competitive and anti-competitive Election War.
Since Mamdani has secured the democratic nomination, Trump has labeled him an Anatic Commanisist Lunatic, “and” my little Communists, “using Mamdani in the national political stage. Mamdani refused Monday, maintaining that he identifies as a democratic Socialist, like Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez.
As Trump began to criticize Mamdani, the Democrats of New York chose to avoid their approval of the social election, where he organized a campaign of rapid publicity, such as more food buses, all of which he planned to pay for by increasing taxes on the top 1% Corporations.
After months of withholding their approval, Gov. Kathy Hochul renewed Mamdani last month and the youngest leader of the house Hakeem Jeffries finally confirmed his support in a statement on Friday. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer can still approve.

The pressure had grown since Mamdani won the Democratic Primary in June over Mayor Eric Adams, who also served as CUOMO from the race to consolidate Mamdani’s support. Adams dropped out of the race and endorsed Cuomo on Thursday.
That pressure reached a boiling point last week as billionaires, including Red Media Media’s John Catsimatidis and Republican incumbent Bill Curtis Sliwa to withdraw from the race to defeat CUOMO.

The latest FOX News poll, conducted on Oct. 10-14, before the first general election interview last week, revealed that Mamdani has a big salary in the race. According to the wind, Mamdani has a 21-point gap among registered New York City voters with 49% of voters supporting Mamdani, while 28% go to Cuomo and 13% want SLIWA.
Mamdani also rose above the threshold of 50% among the voters who made the voters, the support of 52%, while Cuomi took 28%, and Sliwa received only 14%.
