Dubai SME launches plug and play accelerator to scale startups worldwide

Dubammed Bin Rashid’s establishment of small and medium enterprises (Dubai SME), part of Dubai’s Ministry of Economy and Tourism (Deb), has partnered with the Silicon Valley-based Innovation Platptom Platform and played to launch a new start-up aimed at transforming Emirati-owned jobs.

The accelerator will be operated by plug and play as part of the activities that we started to present to the founders of Dubai HQ at the 25hours hotel at One Central, Dubai World Trade Centre. The program will run two cohorts per year, each consisting of 10 Emirati startups. Participants will receive financial preparation training, engage with corporate partners and government officials, and pitch to investors. Key Government Sector Agencies, including Dubai Health, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Police, Emirate Flight Catering, and the General Directorate for Idestity and Women, are expected to participate by identifying sector challenges and collaborating with Startups on solutions.
