The Saudi agricultural company for agriculture and the cultivation of Livestock (Salic), a company owned by public funds (PIF), strategies to build the agricultural sector of Agri-Food in Saudi Arabia and in the world jistriss the Swiss company and Syngenta Syngenta Propection AG, a broad leader in agriculture.
The two companies have signed a letter of intent (LOI) in Basel, Switzerland, to combine their expertise in ensuring global food security through partnership strategies, technologies and practices. They plan to explore joint projects in sustainable agriculture, digital agriculture, soil health, crop protection solutions, and other areas.
Salic, syngenta food safety integration
Among other projects that the two companies want to work on are smart farming methods, sustainable soil management, plants and technological development, efforts to share excellence, and the transfer of knowledge through the creation of beauty centers. They will also work on water conservation, development of soil regeneration methods, and digital farm management platforms.
Salic was founded in 2012 investing throughout the Agri-Food Valial Chain to improve the Kingdom’s food security in line with the Saudi Vision 2030. It has built a diversified global portfolio of assets, technologies, and strategic partnerships around the world.
