Meanwhile, CJ Stroud and the Texans offense couldn’t get a single thing going all night against this dynamic Seahawks defense. Stroud’s first four drives ended in punts, without any of the five plays.
Amazingly, both teams went in at one hour and one game, as the Texans managed to convert two field goals before the second quarter curtain call with a 14-6 lead.

Then, in the second half, disaster struck the seahawks when Darnold was tackled by Anderson Jr. In the end and the ball was received by the Texans for a much-needed touchdown. This two-point attempt was unsuccessful, but at 17-12, the game was within reach if Houston could see something on defense.
However, Darnold led the Seahawks to another field goal in the third quarter, and Stroud turned the ball over to the skins, which led to the game going out.
A fourth down attempt at Houston’s Own 41-Yard line, and Darnold cleared the field with a 19-Yard Pass to Smith-Njigba to get into the red zone. A few plays later, Charbonnet added another short run for a score to make it 27-12.

The Texans defense kept trying to keep their team in that game, including their fourth turnover of the game as Derek Stingley Jr. bring in Darnold. But, even though the Texans were at Seattle’s 3-Yard Line, they couldn’t score when the Seaside defense remained relentless.
But in the end Stroud was able to find a red trip for the burning area with a touch, as he got a running back from the stony marks to make it 27-19. It wasn’t enough time for Houston, however, as the Seahawks finally got the job done.
If you look at the box score, Smith-Njigba had another 100 game. And while Charbonnet scored two touchdowns, Kenneth Walker III added 66 yards on 17 carries on his birthday.
