Qatar Airways and Kenya Airways extend codeshare partnership to 19 destinations

Qatar Airways and Kenya Airways have announced a major expansion of their partnership with the launch of Codeshare flights to 19, strengthening connectivity across Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
The new routes will be available for departures from October 26, 2025, with tickets sold on October 21, 2025.
The extended agreement provides seamless connectivity for passengers through Hamad International Airport in Doha and Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi.

The partnership opens up new opportunities for travelers across both networks. Kenya Airways customers can book Codeshare flights between Nairobi and DOHA, and onward to Bahrain Airways’ around the world, including Bahrain, Colombo, Islamé, Singapore and Tokyo Narita.
Meanwhile, Qatar Airways customers have access to eight destinations offered by Kenya Airways, such as Lilongwe, Livingstone, Juba, Nula, NDOLA, and Victoria Falls.
The partnership allows for smooth travel between emerging African markets and Qatar Airways’ more than 170 global destinations, strengthening Doha’s position as a global hub.

The two airlines will continue to strengthen cooperation beyond passenger services, including flight operations, lounges, logistics, and procurement.
Future phases of the partnership will expand to network development, cargo, aircraft maintenance, maintenance and redundancy.
Prindlege Club members will also be able to earn Avios on Codeshare flights operated by Kenya Airways, extending the value of the Airlines’ frequent flyer programs.
The enhanced partnership underscores the shared commitment of both airlines to support the growth of African aviation – one of the fastest growing air travel destinations in the world.
It also highlighted the role of the Qatari national airline in connecting Africa’s important business and leisure business through the Gulf, while strengthening Kenya Airways’ position as East Africa’s leading airline.
