Dubai unveils the AI platform, the work and the Unicorn 30 program to drive the world’s innovation

Dubai’s new plans aim to accelerate the adoption of AI, enable integration and strengthen the emirate’s digital economy.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Mashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Prime Minister of Dubai, UAE minister of defense, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai Technology (AI) is designed to accelerate future technology adoption and strengthen new global leadership.
Projects include the launch of the AI Inglstructure Empowerment Propter platform, the design of the Dubai Ai Ackeral project, and the launch of the Unicorn 30 program.
Dubai AI projects
They were approved at the second meeting of the Supreme Committee of the Supreme Committee for Technological Development and Technological Development and the digital economy, where Shiikh Hamdan reviewed the latest developments and achievements.
Sheikh Hamdan said: “Our vision is clear, and our priorities are well defined. We are at the forefront of AI tools in delivering efficient, safe, and innovative services, in line with the economic agenda of Dubai (D33)”.
He emphasized that Dubai’s success is built on the cooperation and shared commitment of government agencies, adding that the emirate continues to attract talent, encourage innovation, and develop future-proof solutions that improve the well-being of its people.

AI Inglstructure Empowerment Platform
Sheikh Hamdan approved the AI infrastructure development platform to help government agencies in Dubai quickly adopt AI technology in all key sectors.
The platform provides a secure and fully integrated digital environment that combines advanced infrastructure with ready-to-use smart services. It enables the development of AI-driven solutions with high quality, fast delivery, and low cost, while maintaining the highest levels of cybersecurity and trust.
It also aims to improve administrative efficiency, increase resources through shared digital infrastructure, and strengthen governance structures to protect government data and maintain integrity and trust.
Dubai Ai Scheiserforce Tasurforce
The newly established Dubai Ai Ai Island accelerator will connect AI strategies to all Goskhivid of government within a unified framework that supports the transformational goals of the Dubai Digital Deplform.
The move follows a consultation led by the Dubai Center for Artificial Intelligence (DCCA) with senior AI officials from 27 government agencies.
Employees will focus on improving institutional integration, speeding decision-making, and driving balanced impact through cutting-edge AI technology.
Unicorn 30 program
Sheikh Hamdan also approved the Unicorn 30 program, presented by the Dubai Chamber of the digital economy with participation from local and international companies that take care of businesses and start-ups.
This initiative aims to fast-track the growth of 30 emerging companies in new economic sectors, enabling them to become global unicorns (billion dollar businesses) from Dubai.
Operating under the founders’ Dubai HQ, the program showcases 10 key trends covering capital, growth, regulation and governance.
It seeks to create a supportive ecosystem that enables scaling up globally and reinforces Dubai’s position as a leading hub for business and innovation.
Dubai’s view of the economy of Dubai
The new AI programs are part of Dubai’s wider plan to embed artificial intelligence in all government services, and add to the goals of Dubai’s economic agenda (D33) – which aims to double the Emirate’s GDP in the next ten years.
Together, the platform, the work, and the startup program support Dubai’s desire to become the most advanced city in the world in acquiring future technologies and promote good, sustainable governance.

Gitex Global and Portech methods
The Committee also reviewed the plans for Gitex Global 2026, which will move from Dubai World Trade Center to Expo City Dubai for its 45th edition.
The submission aims to increase the scale of the event and global participation, to deliver provocative content, and to provide stable settings and trends in the near term of global innovation.
Sheikh Hamdan was also sworn in with recent successes, including the Dubai Proptech Hub, which was launched in July 2025 to create a large technology cluster in the Middle East and the North by 2030.
The Hub aims to attract 200 specialized companies and create more than 3,000 skilled jobs while supporting Dubai’s new data-driven economy with new construction-related information.
He was also updated on the operational plan of the founders of Dubai HQ, which was approved at the beginning of the year and presented last week.
