Streaser Emiru blames the twist of his attack on TxipCON

When you arrived at ThwtchCON 2025 at the San Diego Convention Center, you were immediately met with tight security. Bags are checked, backpacks are denied, and everyone goes through with getting a bell. To access different areas inside, attendees must check their wristbands – but these things often don’t work well, and security rarely makes an exception.
With such a visible presence, you would think that the creators would feel safe. They don’t – and for good reason.
Stream Emiru was reportedly attacked during a meet and greet at TtptCON 2025
Emiru, a youtuber and twitch stalwart with almost two million followers, was attacked at the meet and greet on the first day of TptchCON. And, even though it took us saying time and time again that “safety and security” is the most important thing to him, he was “left to be heard” angry and upset by the way it could have happened during and after the fact. “
“I don’t understand how you were allowed to do this to me in the first place,” Emiru said in a lengthy post on X.
This tweet is currently unavailable. It can be loaded or unloaded.
In a video posted on X, someone approached Emiru, grabbed him, and tried to kiss him. He pushed them before security intervened and pulled them down by the arm. Emiru says the security was his own security, not a member of Tptchcon’s security team. He said there were three or four security personnel nearby who “didn’t react and let the boy go.”
“The woman who accompanied me was my boss, and behind the booth, the only people who looked at me and consoled me were my friends.
Mashable Trend Report
After the video was widely circulated on social media, Twitteve said in a statement of X that “immediately blocked this person from being returned to the pupping premises, and they are banned forever from downloading, both and human events.” Emiru wrote that this is a “blatant lie.”
“He was allowed to go to my meeting and greet, and I did not hear that he was arrested until many hours after the attack, because this happened because Dypcon workers insisted that it was a big deal,” he wrote.
Twitch did not immediately respond to Mashable’s request for comment on the conflicting accounts.
Emiru also noted that this incident follows the ban behind Dypnonct’s “very popular and general safety” for “grabbing the stalker’s arm to take him to the police” in a previous event.
Now, he says this will be his last FINTCON, and he encouraged others not to attend in the future.
He wrote: “I don’t feel cared for or protected, until I bring my own and the workers. “I can’t imagine how they created without those options.”
This is not the first time Tiptcon has been criticized for security concerns. In 2024, a few accompanying Specials disrupt the event, harassing the creators associated with the Stwind-Site. This year, the big stream, including Valkyrae, QTCInderella, Hasan Piker, Hidden Toast, and Jvonnie, has publicly announced that they can’t worry about safety.
