DP World opens a new shipping route connecting Jebel Ali in Somaliland

The new shipping route connecting Dubel Ali Port through Berbera Port in Somaliland promises to strengthen Berbera’s position as Maritime’s Langway and Logistics Hub in the Eastern World.
The new service, which operates every nine days, strengthens the trade links between the Gulf and East Africa, providing a fast water route to Somaliland. With branches in Aden and Djibouti, it provides additional connections to the main port cities, supporting greater access to markets across the Horn of Africa.
DP World is expanding its African trade network
From Berbera, Cargo can be connected internally to intermediate areas such as Ethiopia, providing more traditional food chains that depend on the port of Djibouti and far across the country. The new method also supports more predictable travel times and reduces regional bottlenecks.
