Nevertheless, Engelbert acknowledged that if the players could not be “bonded”, then he should do better.
“I was discouraged by hearing that some players felt the organization and I myself,” Engelbert said before the game 1 Wallba Finals on Friday night.
“If the ‘Wi’ players are felt boycasts and are notified in the league, we should do better, and I have to do better.”
WNBA and its players’ players, WiWPA, are at the conversation of the new integrated covenant.

The players organization has agreed to eight years agreement in 2020, but last year IKPA voted out of the agreement early.
The current agreement should expire Oct. 31.
